Henry Hill "Goodfellas Tampa Shake-up & Shake Down" Painting

Gangster Henry Hill (1943 - 2012) is best known for his tell all book, made into the film, Goodfellas (1990), by Martin Scorsese. Hill left witness protection when most of the people who wanted him dead were gone and embarked on a speaking tour, started selling stuff, and began to paint scenes from his book and the film. Here we have one of Hill’s original 11x15” watercolor paintings. It depicts the Tampa Shake-Up and Shake-Down” with a couple of mobsters dangling their victim over the Lion habitat at the zoo. The painting is stamped with an authentication stamp on the back, dated 2009, and initialed by Hill. It also comes with a certificate from his family, which has been selling the remaining stuff he painted and/or signed since his death.
