Most of the posters we sell are "Original US One-Sheet Posters" anything else is clearly stated in the description (reprint, daybill, half-sheet or insert).
One-sheet posters are 27x41" for most movies made prior to 1990 and 27x40" for most movies made after 1990. The transition was from 1989-1993 from 27x41" to the 27x40" of today.
The Posters we sell can fit into the following four categories:
Near Mint to Mint - A poster in about the best condition you can find it. Not displayed, only the most minimal of wear, no fading, rips, tape etc.
Very Good - Basically a NM poster that may have something preventing it from being NM like an extra fold, perhaps a single pin hole in the corners, a bit of storage wear or scuffing, pencil marks in the border, etc. This is what we notice most other people call “NM to Mint” condition.
Good - Pretty much an average everyday poster from the collection of any average collector. May have been displayed, theatre used, tacked to somebody’s wall etc. Can have prominent fold lines, small border rips or tears, some writing on the poster (front or back), a crinkle, slight fade or anything that may keep it from being considered better than just “good”. Still desirable and worth adding to your collection - especially if it’s a rare or hard to find poster to begin with. We will also use a good+ or good - rating.
Fair or Poor - Just that, a “Fair” or “Poor” condition poster. If it’s listed in our catalog as fair or poor, it will say why in the description. We don’t generally bother with any thing considered fair or poor, but you never know what kind of really rare stuff may pop up, and you can repair even the most damaged poster, so hey, maybe from time to time, a fair or poor poster may show up in our listings.

Director Roger Vadim’s creepy Euro-Horror with Elsa Martinelli, Mel Ferrer, and Annette Vadim. Rolled original 22x28” US half sheet in good+ to Very Good- condition has some minor edge dings down the right side and a small corner that was bent back at one time. All slight imperfections would frame right out.
John Gilling directed sci-fi monster movie with John Saxon, Maurice Denham, Jack Watson, and Patricia Haines. US one-sheet poster in good- overall condition still displays well.
Philippino horror flick - and the first Philippino horror film in color - with Ronald Remy, Amalia Fuertes, Eva Montes, and Eddie Fernandez. Original US one-sheet poster in Very Good condition.
Independent International “Death Wish” rip-off starring Oliver Reed. Folded, original US one-sheet poster.
Martial arts mayhem, with Yu Wang, Chiao Chiano, and Angela Gale. Great artwork on this original US one-sheet 27x41" in good theater displayed condition.
Sleazy French horror film from director Claude Mulot, with Phillippe Lemaire, Anny Duperey, and Olivia Robin. US one-sheet poster in good to Very Good- condition.
Roger Corman directed drive-in exploitation with Shelley Winters, Pat Hingle, Don Stroud, Diane Varsi, Bruce Dern, and Robert DeNiro. Original US one-sheet poster in good displayed condition.
Decent 90’s horror with Jeff Fahey, Lindsay Duncan, Kim Delaney, and Brad Douriff. Rolled US one-sheet poster in Very Good condition.
Drive-In exploitation classic from director Arthur Marks, with Tiffany Bolling, Steve Sandor, Robin Mattson, Scott Brady, Alex Ricco, and Lenore Stevens. Original US one-sheet poster in good overall condition that has some clear tape in the borders and a small two inch rip at the bottom of the poster, but no paper loss, great color, and displays well.
Comedy about the adult film industry with Michael Blankey, Bert Belant, Robin Hood, and Frank Millen. Original 25x36” US poster in Very Good condition is smaller than a regular one-sheet poster. It’s “adult theater” sized.
Oliver Stone directed war drama with Tom Cruise, Kyra Sedgwick, Raymond Barry, Jerry Levine, and William Dafoe. One-sheet sized video release poster in good+ condition features the same artwork as the theatrical one-sheet.
Gritty western with Dan Duryea and Rod Cameron. Original US one-sheet poster has some separation at the center folds, but still displays well.

Christopher Lee in the evil Fu Manchu, with Douglas Wilner, Tsai Chin, and Marie Versini. Original US one-sheet has some separation at the center folds, but is clean, bright, and displays good.

Director Ruggero Deodato’s cult cannibal classic with Robert Kerman, Francesca Ciardi, and Carl Yorke. 28x38” one-sheet sized poster features a native painted white poling down the Amazon River. The title is in English, but we’re not sure of the exact country of origin as it is not a US poster. In Very Good overall condition.

Mike Myers is the creepiest live-action Cat in history! With Dakota Fanning, Alec Baldwin, and Kelly Preston. Rolled double-sided advance style US one-sheet poster in Very Good condition is far less creepy than Mike Myers cat too!
Lee Frost and Wes Bishop’s exploitation classic with Michael Sterns, Robert Lott, Barbara Mills, and Linda York. Original US one-sheet poster in good+ displayed condition. Some separation at the center folds and pin holes in corners, but bright colors and no paper loss.
Kung fu classic was picked up by Cannon for a US release. Better than average artwork on this original US one-sheet poster in good+ overall condition.
